Caruso Acoustic sound-absorbing solutions are the protagonists of an acoustic correction project carried out at the offices of Meteor di Fabio Dell’Oglio & C. (Mareno di Piave (TV), Italy), a leading company in the design and manufacture of electromechanical components for the appliance, medical, vending, professional and automotive industries.
The need arose from the desire to improve acoustic comfort within working spaces and minimise the annoyance caused by echoes and reverberations. Thanks to the installation of sound-absorbing panels in the offices, conference room and canteen, it was possible to guarantee adequate levels of sound absorption according to the different uses.
Nuvola suspension panels with integrated LED lighting systems were chosen for the offices. The compositional flexibility of these solutions makes it possible to optimise the use of space, creating compositions of various sizes and shapes, while at the same time ensuring a comfortable environment suitable for work or meetings. In the room used for conferences and corporate events, Silente acoustic panels were installed in the wall-mounted version. The many possibilities in the choice of sizes and colours made it possible to create a composition with a modern style, almost completely covering one of the perimeter walls, maximising the overall absorption capacity and giving character to the room.
The same type of solution was also preferred for the refreshment room, in the customised version with a unique print on the fabric covering the products. Particular attention was also paid to the choice of colours in line with the company’s choices of sustainability, to encourage pleasant environments and mental relaxation in the case of the green tones and flowers used for the canteen.
To complete the project, D-Space acoustic partition panels and Menhir sound-absorbing totems were supplied, free-standing elements that can be easily relocated according to layout requirements.
