Caruso Acoustic sound-absorbing solutions for the Tennis Club of Parma (Parma, Italy)

Caruso Acoustic recently completed an acoustic correction intervention in the restaurant hall of the Parma Tennis Club —a historic sports club located in a prestigious setting surrounded by greenery. Founded in 1966, the club remains a popular gathering place that promotes well-being on the outskirts of the city.

The restaurant hall, with its high ceilings and curved architectural lines, required acoustic treatment to ensure a comfortable dining experience. The intervention included suspended Dot sound-absorbing panels, suspended Kubo elements and Silente panels mounted flush to the walls. The Dot panels, strategically placed on the ceiling, help to effectively mitigate diffuse noises from customer conversations, significantly improving speech intelligibility. Creatively and dynamically suspended in the centre of the room, the Kubo elements, not only deliver acoustic performance, but also serve as decorative element. Finally, the Silente panels applied to the walls further optimize sound absorption, ensuring uniform hearing comfort throughout the area.

To reflect the serene and welcoming atmosphere of the surrounding park, all sound-absorbing elements were selected in natural green tones, blending harmoniously with the interior design and architectural features of the room.

The result is a pleasant and relaxing environment, where design and acoustic function combine to create a comfortable and sociable dining experience.
This project confirms Caruso Acoustic’s tailor-made approach in combining design and functionality, further enhancing environments intended for relaxation and socialising.
