Caruso Acoustic sound-absorbing solutions for Perrone Associati (Matera, Italy)

Caruso Acoustic sound-absorbing panels were recently installed at Perrone Associati, a planning and service company that deals with telecommunications, civil and industrial engineering. The supply covered the entire office area, made up of several rooms, including the reception and offices with multiple workstations.

The internal organisation of the spaces is entrusted to the desk blocks, which divide the large open-space area into several groups of workstations. The need to satisfy both the collective and individual requirements related to daily life at work, especially in the operational department, was the main focus of this acoustic design project.
The insertion of Flag acoustic panels, chosen in the suspended version with vertical application and integrated with LED lighting, made it possible to place the sound-absorbing material in correspondence of the desks, effectively intercepting sound waves while at the same time providing proper lighting. Thanks to the attachment system with adjustable cables, Flag panels can be attached to both ceilings and suspended ceilings, and can be positioned at different heights. In the reception area, the Flag panel behind the information desk was customised with an ad hoc print on the upholstery fabric.

Some Silente sound-absorbing panels were also installed on the walls, and some Nuvola suspension panels were installed in the training room.
To complete the project, a number of D-Space partition panels were supplied to allow flexible and adaptable use as required.

In terms of aesthetics, the colours chosen for the acoustic panels recall the company’s corporate image, making the rooms livelier. The result is a comfortable working environment where acoustic solutions blend harmoniously with the other furnishings.
