Caruso Acoustic has recently contributed to the implementation of an acoustic correction, planned to complete the interior architecture project signed by PUC interiors studio, at the headquarters of Banca Raiffeisen del Malcantone in Caslano, Switzerland. The project concerned the reception area, a bright and welcoming contemporary open space with large windows and wood-panelled walls, a desk and a waiting area with armchairs.
The supply of acoustic solutions was included by the designers within the furnishing proposal with the aim to improve overall acoustic comfort, reducing reverberation and background noise to ensure greater privacy and tranquillity for staff and customers. The proposed solution included the installation of Dot sound-absorbing panels both on and hanging from the ceiling – some of which with integrated LED lighting – and Silente sound-absorbing panels on the walls. Kubo sound-absorbing elements were hung from the ceiling and anchored to the floor by means of a double fastening system with adjustable steel cables. As well as improving acoustics, this almost sculptural composition has given the space a vibrant and distinctive feel. In fact, during the design phase, all sound-absorbing elements were chosen using specific and personalised colour shades, creating a harmonious and acoustically comfortable environment consistent with the corporate identity.
The collaboration with PUC interiors studio confirms Caruso Acoustic’s focus on creating synergies with designers and architects, aimed at proposing efficient acoustic solutions tailored to improve the comfort of working environments and make the user experience more pleasurable.
