Caruso Acoustic recently completed an acoustic correction intervention at the new headquarters of Studio Barbarisi & Associati, an association of chartered accountants based in Montebelluna, in the province of Treviso.

The project, designed by Durante Ufficio, covered the open-plan workspace, the meeting rooms and a number of more intimate discussion areas. The common thread is versatility: the Caruso Acoustic sound-absorbing panels, selected in different shapes, sizes and configurations, meet the specific needs of each room in terms of space, use, acoustic and lighting performance.

The main character of the project is the Silente sound-absorbing panel, available in both surface-mounted and suspended versions, some of which feature integrated LED lighting. In the open-space area, specifically, twenty-four Silente panels with ceiling lights (UGR <19) define the layout of the workstations, promoting concentration, acoustic comfort and proper lighting at each desk.

The same synergy between acoustics and lighting is also achieved in the most private spaces with Dot and Silente panels, both of which are suspended and incorporate light fittings, consistently fulfilling a dual function: acoustic comfort and improved light distribution. It is precisely this ability to customize that makes Caruso Acoustic panels suitable for both large shared spaces and smaller representative environments, where professional discussions require privacy and high-quality sound.

From an aesthetic point of view, the neutral tones of the coverings interact with the light-coloured surfaces and the natural wood inserts of the furnishings, creating a clean, bright look that is consistent with the identity of the studio.

Caruso Acoustic’s Silente sound-absorbing panels for the offices of Tua Energia Srl (Portogruaro, Venice, Italy)

Caruso Acoustic recently carried out an acoustic correction project at the headquarters of Tua Energia Srl in Portogruaro (Venice), energy services provider for households and businesses.

The project, designed by Durante Ufficio, involved the reception area at the entrance, the open-space offices, the private offices and the meeting room, all separated by glass walls. The glass partitions create a sense of openness and a pleasant visual continuity, but at the same time they also present an acoustic challenge: as they are smooth and highly reflective surfaces, they tend to amplify reverberation and reduce acoustic comfort.

The installation involved the supply of 12 Silente sound-absorbing panels adhesively mounted on bars and featuring integrated LED lighting. The sage green finish was chosen to complement the company’s colour palette, creating visual continuity with the orange accents that define the Tua Energia brand.

In this context, the acoustic panels serve a dual purpose: they contribute to acoustic comfort by reducing reverberation and, thanks to the integrated lighting, ensure uniform light distribution across work surfaces, without the need for additional light fittings.

The result is a functional and visually coherent environment, designed to support concentration and well-being in the workplace.

Caruso Acoustic’s participation at the Salone del Mobile.Milano 2026 concluded with satisfaction. The company’s presence within the exhibition space of the mother company LAMM (Hall 24 | Stand D34, in the Workplace 3.0 area) marked an important moment in the brand’s growth journey, confirming its commitment to enhancing the acoustic and lighting comfort of contemporary spaces.

The strong interest shown by visitors and international designers toward the solutions presented confirmed that the theme of acoustic well-being is now at the heart of the debate on the design of work and learning environments.

From April 21 to 26, Caruso Acoustic will be present at Salone del Mobile.Milano, the most important international event dedicated to furniture and design. The company, specialized in sound-absorbing panels for acoustic and lighting comfort, will exhibit within the booth of its mother company LAMM (Hall 24 | Stand D34).

On this important event, Caruso Acoustic will present a preview of a new fully recyclable “eco-friendly” panel: a solution that not only expands the existing range, but also concretely reflects the company’s commitment to sustainability.

The new panels feature an internal metal structure – ensuring not only high strength and long-term stability, but also versatility and design freedom – a sound-absorbing core made of polyester fiber certified REMADE IN ITALY®, combined with a fully removable One fabric covering, an exclusive yarn obtained from recycled plastic bottles, certified OEKO-TEX® and Global Recycle Standard. Dot sound-absorbing panels by Caruso Acoustic for the Politecnico di Milano (Milan, Italy)

Caruso Acoustic carried out an acoustic correction project at the Department of Physics of the Politecnico di Milano (Building 8, Piazza Leonardo da Vinci 32), as part of a project managed by the MRC Architetti studio.

The supply involved several study rooms, where acoustic comfort is essential: in large open-plan spaces, reverberation can quickly increase and make concentration difficult, resulting in mental fatigue. To improve speech intelligibility, 39 Dot sound-absorbing panels were installed, strategically distributed to cover the entire surface of the rooms.

The choice of the suspended version was also crucial for integration with the structure of the spaces: the ceiling, characterized by exposed systems, required a flexible and non-invasive solution. The sound-absorbing panels, suspended by height-adjustable steel cables, were installed without interfering with ventilation, fire safety systems, and other technical elements, maintaining visual order and design continuity.

At the workstations, some Dot panels integrate LED lighting, effectively meeting the dual need for acoustic control and illumination. This solution reduces the need for additional light fittings and ensures functional lighting on study surfaces.

The color selection also contributes to the project: warm shades of yellow and orange define the ceiling, enlivening the space and making the rooms more welcoming. The intervention is therefore both technical and visual – designed to improve the daily experience of those who use the university spaces.

Silente sound-absorbing panels for the “Dino Tebaldi” Municipal Library – San Giorgio (Ferrara, Italy)

Caruso Acoustic has recently completed an acoustic correction project at the “Dino Tebaldi” Municipal Library in the San Giorgio district of Ferrara, as part of a broader architectural redevelopment designed by lead architect Michele Giordani.

The new facility returns to the community a renewed and highly multifunctional public space, capable of hosting new cultural activities and social initiatives.

The project involved the installation of Silente sound-absorbing panels in the suspended ceiling version, some of which are equipped with integrated LED lighting, in the large open-plan hall that houses reading and consultation areas, the archive, and a small refreshment corner.

The panels with integrated lighting perform a dual function: on the one hand, they contribute to acoustic comfort; on the other, they ensure uniform and even light distribution, eliminating the need for additional lighting fixtures.

The colour selection of the textile coverings focused on neutral and warm tones, designed to interact harmoniously with the finishes and contemporary-designed furnishings. The final result is a bright, welcoming, and visually balanced environment.
