Acoustic solutions for separating work areas
Reorganising workspaces in a safe and flexible way. These are the objectives and new requirements shaping the recovery of many companies and commercial businesses that will have to plan and design new ways for their employees and partners to work, with social distancing respected in communal areas and offices. A new way of organising working environments through the use of existing space-sharing solutions and the installation of desk dividers that demarcate individual workstations. With this in mind, Caruso Acoustic is proposing two different solutions able to separate workspaces with ease, while ensuring adequate acoustic comfort.
D-Space floor dividers and Scriba desk panels are designed to meet the acoustic needs of open-plan offices and shared work areas where flexible layouts that are easy to reorganise are increasingly required. The space-dividing solutions proposed by Caruso Acoustic make it possible to optimise the acoustic conditions of working environments that feature a number of desks/tables to be demarcated, allowing us to organise work spaces in line with the specific needs of each individual project.
The D-Space acoustic dividing panel is a mobile sound-absorbing wall with a floor support: it is light, practical and stable thanks to the pair of support bases made from either glazed stainless steel or coated steel. It is also available with a dual-wheel system with brakes, making it easier to move around, or with a stainless-steel floor stand. To separate workstations on tables and shared surfaces, Caruso Acoustic designed Scriba, an acoustic desk panel designed to be installed on horizontal tops by way of a special clamping system or using a support with a stainless-steel base.
Both panels are free-standing and available in different standard or project-specific dimensions. The recyclable, Oeko Tex-certified polyester coating is breathable and does not absorb moisture. The removable and washable fabric cover makes sanitising fabrics and surfaces easier and is available in a wide range of colours and customised prints.
