TheNovotel Parma Centro hotel, located just a stone’s throw from Parma's historic town centre, chose Caruso Acoustic’s sound-absorbing solutions to improve the acoustics of two rooms—used for seminars, gatherings, meetings and corporate training—in its conference centre. The indoor settings, which have no partitions and feature minimalist furnishings, reflect the needs of spaces designed to host various activities and events. The project involved the installation of suspended Silente sound-absorbing panels in the larger conference room and the ceiling-mounted version in the meeting room, to ensure optimal use of the meeting facilities. Silente acoustic panels were chosen for their ability to reduce the reverberation time of sound waves in rooms, which improves sound quality, clarity of speech and acoustic comfort. In addition, the neutral tones of the upholstery fabrics chosen for this installation blend in seamlessly with the overall design of the rooms, for an elegant and visually discreet end result.
